AquaCone™ Assembly And Use Step-By-Step

Remove all parts from the heavy duty bag, then remove the clear Aquacone from it’s protective wrap. Open the red valve and fold the clear valve under so it sticks out of the red valve. Partially inflate the AquaCone floatation tube by mouth (do not use compressed air or air pump).

Top

Make sure the tube is oriented correctly so that the red drain valve and clear inflation valve align. Finish inflating the flotation tube until it’s a firm ring. Close the clear valve and the red valve.

Top

If your assembly looks like the photo to the right, the red drain valve and the clear infaltion valve are not aligned.

Top

If the red drain valve and clear inflation valve do not align, partially deflate the tube and realign. Using the velcro circle supplied, attach the loop velcro to the straw and the hook velcro to the AquaCone, facing upwards. Velcro the straw to the AquaCone to keep the straw from touching the water source.

Unfold the support poles and feed the grommet at the tip of the AquaCone onto the hook on the support poles. The hook will be upside down. Place the support poles in the plastic grommets at the base of the AquaCone.

Unwrap the black wick and floor assembly, setting aside the salt packs and repair kit. Inflate the floor (do not use compressed air or air pump). Be careful not to over inflate.

Top

Attach the wick to the floor by looping the velcro straps through the slots in the floor and wick, then joining the velcro, leaving 2 inches of hook velcro facing upwards.

Top

Secure the floor assembly to the AquaCone by putting the white tie-line through the brass grommets and tying securely.

Top

Wet the black circular wick using the available water source.

Top

Attach the extra hook velcro on the floor to the loop velcro on the bottom of the tube of the AquaCone. Press the velcro together to secure.

Top

Holding the tip of the AquaCone, gently drop it into the source water from a height of about 6 inches.

This is what your AquaCone should look like after you have assembled it correctly.
